Educational Background

  • Post Doc, Applied and Engineering Physics, Cornell University, 2008-2011
  • PhD, Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, 2008
  • BSEE, Electrical Engineering, University of Notre Dame, 2003

Research interest

My research group looks at how light interaction with chemical species, specifically in tissue, can yield both physiological and quantitative chemical information. We primarily employ non-linear optical, phosphorescent quenching, and mid-infrared vibrational spectroscopic approaches.
